Leopold Dietmann (also known as Leo Diet) was a Czech-Austrian painter and inventor. Promoted by Crown Prince Rudolf; he was in Cairo from 1883-87, taught at the School of Applied Arts in Graz and received the Austrian State Prize in 1906.
