Ferdinand Brunner (Vienna 1870 - Vienna 1945)
Ferdinand Brunner was born on the 1 May 1870. After an apprenticeship at the atelier of the court set painters Brioschi, Burghart and Kautsky, he studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. His teacher was the famous artist Peithner von Lichtenfels.
Ferdinand Brunner mainly painted the landscape of Lower and Upper Austria, concentrating on a few, clearly shaped motives.
